This policy explains what information Total Power Coaching ("we," "us," "Jay Batten") collects when you use this website or apply for coaching, why we collect it, and what your rights are. If anything here isn't clear, email jaybatten1995@gmail.com and I'll explain it properly.
What We Collect
When you submit a coaching application through this site, we collect:
- Contact details: name, email address, and Instagram handle (if provided)
- Training information: age, bodyweight, training experience, current lifts, competition history, and your training goals
- Anything else you choose to tell us in the application's free-text fields
If you purchase the Competition Peak Programme, payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details at any point. Stripe processes the payment directly and provides us only with confirmation that it was successful.
Why We Collect It
We only use this information to:
- Assess your coaching application and build a programme suited to you
- Communicate with you about your application, coaching, or purchase
- Deliver the Competition Peak Programme after purchase
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Where It's Stored
Application form submissions are collected and stored by Netlify (our website host) and forwarded to Jay's email inbox. Payment information for the Competition Peak Programme is processed and stored by Stripe. Both are established providers with their own strict security and privacy standards.
Who We Share It With
We don't share your personal information with any third party except:
- Netlify, to receive and store your form submission
- Stripe, to process payment, if you purchase the Competition Peak Programme
- Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies, to understand how visitors use the site
None of these are used for any purpose beyond running this site, processing payments, and (where you've consented) understanding site usage.
Cookies
This site asks for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type), which helps us improve it. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set, and the site works exactly the same either way. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data and reloading the page. Some functionality (such as loading fonts from Google Fonts) may involve minimal, standard technical requests to third-party services required simply to display the page correctly.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Withdraw consent for us to hold your information at any time
